All his bags are packed, he's ready to go....
Tomorrow at four in the afternoon, Central Time, Kidney Bean officially leaves the Midwest to try living and loving in the West Coast. I'm sincerely happy for him. He deserves to go on a journey that would let him spread his wings and be as content and appreciated as he can be. As he deserves to be.
At the same time, a huge part of me can't smile. I'm sad. Kidney has been a very big part of my life in and out of Accenture. For the past three years, he has been a steady presence. He was always, always there for me for the 1,095 or more days that we have known each other.
He was an awesome boss and I learned alot from him and he gave me all the opportunities he could find for me to grow and improve myself.
He was an awesome friend that never wavered in our friendship regardless of whether we were in the same country or not.
We have built a history together and a chapter in the story of our lives have inextricably merged. Even if distance and circumstance directs us down different paths the rest of our lives, the words and paragraphs that make up the happy tale of our friendship will never change.
I will miss you alot, Kidney. I will miss the lessons on the correct use of prepositions, dissertations about Family Guy, and just laughing and talking and laughing some more about the most random of things.
Take care. Keep in touch. Goodluck.
